People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;
...Forgive them anyway!
...Forgive them anyway!
If you
are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
...Be kind anyway!
...Be kind anyway!
If you
are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
...Succeed anyway!
...Succeed anyway!
If you
are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
...Be honest and frank anyway!
...Be honest and frank anyway!
What
you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
...Build anyway!
...Build anyway!
If you
find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
...Be happy anyway!
...Be happy anyway!
The
good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
...Do good anyway!
...Do good anyway!
Give
the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
...Give the world the best you've got anyway!
...Give the world the best you've got anyway!
You
see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
It was never between you and them anyway.
This poem was authored by Mother Teresa. However the authenticity
of this is unknown. I posted this poem in here since it has the gist of what a
great leader would have in his attitude. It is said that this poem is seen on
the wall of her children's home in Calcutta, India on the day she died.

Listen More
“It is obliged for the bright person to use his ears twice as much in stead of his tongue and to realise that he has received two ears and just one mouth, so that he will be listening more than that he speaks.
